Logistics
At our sites we are able to store our customers’ parts and components under different conditions, depending on the individual requirements. Besides the open area of the outdoor facility, we dispose over 1000 m² roofed storage capacity within the hall as well as around 500 m² of roofed outdoor space.
In the field of outgoing goods logistics we execute the following activities:
- Packaging of the parts on customer owned transport frames
- Tailored packaging with own material
- Labeling of parts and transport boxes
- Organization and commissioning of external transport companies
Flexibility through company owned truck
Due to our company owned truck (7.5 tons + trailer) we are able to directly deliver the goods to our customers. The advantages are a careful handling of the painted parts and the possibility to serve our regular customers in a closed loop system. In that way the transportation racks can be interchanged.
The chart below shows the procedure of a project in which Helbig & Lang is not just responsible for the surface treatment but is also involved in the logistical process. The parts and components are stored at our site which is close to the customer. The parts can be requested by batches according to the production planning within a short-time period. The payment process is handled by Helbig & Lang and the supplier of raw parts.
